As other reviewers have mentioned, there are some concerns, such as the frame being wobbly and the bottom board just needing to be placed in place, but the wobble is only noticeable when you're assembling it, and as I don't normally put my feet on it when I sleep, it doesn't bother me at all. There is indeed a gap between the mattress and the frame, but it didn't bother me personally.
