Oriented Strand Board
OSB boards were invented and developed in North America, and are mainly produced in North America and Europe. OSB is a wood board made by stacking thin rectangular pieces of wood (strands) cut from logs into boards and compressing them at high temperature. The pieces are cut in a way that gives them strength, and the cross-laminated layers give it strength similar to plywood. It also has excellent insulation, airtightness, and insect resistance.
The grain is carefully processed, the surface is lacquered, and veneer is applied to the cut edges of the boards. This is a kind wood that has been beautifully processed so that anyone can use it safely.
